The lake of Lasés, with its 160,000 sq.m (1,720,000 sq.ft), is the widest one in the Cembra Valley; the maximum depth is about 30 m (100 ft). Its hydrography isn't completely clear, but it's likely that through underground ways the water flows away both to the Avisio river and to the Fèrsina brook, therefore sharing between the Cembra valley and the Valsugana valley.
The charming lake is suitable for fishing 1 because its richness; Antonelli, quoting Tomasi, lists: rainbow trout, whitefish, pike, adriatic roach, chub, rudd, tench, barbel, bleak, carp, eel, perch, pumpkinseed [translated by me].

During the warm season the area is chosen by many people to spend some pleasant time: in the lake the bathing is permitted, along its shores the are a few little beaches and slopes and all around there's a delightful path with wooden benches.
As its altitude is not very high (632 m, 2073 ft), the lake freezes only few days a year (usually between half December and half March), but in that period its surface becomes meeting place of skaters. If the weather is sunny, there are also people who agreeably walk on it or amuse playing with passes of the ball on the ice.
